Drag a sheet
Sheets slide in straight lines and stop when they bump into another one. Plan the order you clear them in.

Match the shredder
A sheet only leaves through a shredder of its own colour, and only if it fits through the slot.

Beat the clock
Clear the mat before time runs out. Freeze the clock, snip a sheet in two, or buy yourself a few extra seconds.
Made of paper, through and through
Every sheet, strip of tape and shredder is drawn by hand in code, and every level is checked to be solvable.
New tricks every few levels
Just as you've got the hang of it, the desk gets messier.
Tape & clips
Taped sheets need a few others shredded first. Clipped ones wait for the key-tag sticker of their colour.
Frost & covers
Jammed shredders thaw as you go, and kraft-paper covers hide part of the mat until they're lifted.
Hard & Super Hard
Every fifth level is tougher and pays more coins and rank points. Super Hard ones pay the most.
Ranks & leaderboard
Climb from Bronze to Legendary, earn a gift at each rank, and see where you stand on the global board.
Daily gift & streaks
Come back for a gift every day, and keep winning to get free boosters on your next levels.
Cutting mats
Swap the green mat for navy, cork, midnight, gilded and more, or win one at the end of the monthly Paper Pass.
Good to know
Is Paper Cut! free?
Yes. The whole game is free to play. You can buy coins, bundles, No Ads or the monthly Paper Pass if you want to, but every level can be cleared without paying.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Levels, lives and coins all work without a connection. Your leaderboard progress is saved on your phone and sent the next time you're online.
Are there ads?
Mostly optional video ads that you choose to watch for a reward, like an extra life or double coins. Some players may see an occasional ad between levels after a win, but never in the early levels and not for 30 days after any purchase. No Ads removes those for good.
How does the Paper Pass work?
It's a monthly subscription through Google Play or the App Store that unlocks the pass rewards, 8 lives instead of 5, and rewards without watching the video. It renews each month until you cancel it in your store account's subscription settings.
Will I lose my progress on a new phone?
Not if you're signed in to Game Center on iPhone or Google Play Games on Android: your progress is saved there, and it comes back with your rank and leaderboard place on a new phone or after a reinstall. Without either, progress is kept on the phone itself.
